The 3M 142-FT-14 3M FT14 TEST HOOD (2/PK) is the 1st line of defense in any environment. Created specifically for the tough demands of lab environments, this product will help protect against hazardous airborne particulates such as dusts, and tiny oil droplets.

The 3M 142-FT-14 3M FT14 Test Hood and two pieces which are meant to be used in conjunction with each other. The hood draws air from the front of the unit and exhausts it out the back smoothly. This set features a filter that has an airflow of 43 cu ft/min lets he quick and easy replacement of filters when they become clogged by dust or debris.

The 3M™ Commercial FT14 Test Hood is a long-lasting, durable unit designed for general purpose applications. This hood has a 1/4" thick face to offer superior protection and durability, with safety glass in the viewing area.

The 3M FT14 Test Hood isolates samples or enclosures from the surrounding area. This hood can protect operators and bystanders during routine maintenance activities.

The 3M™ 142-FT14 test hood's removable dual cartridge respirator offers protection from hazardous fumes and particulates for one person. The helmet features Optical cloth visor with a head harness for comfort and an integrated full face piece. The hood connects to a standard dual cartridge respirator that provides protection from gases, vapors, dusts and particulates. Once the cartridge becomes contaminated by wearing it in an environment without proper protective equipment, the user must replace the entire unit.

These general purpose, explosion-proof, particle-free test hoods provide accurate test results. The non-neoprene faces prevent particle buildup and can be replaced when they show signs of wear to ensure accurate air sampling. These high quality, flexible PVC hoods are designed for general use in many industrial applications including the collection of airborne contaminants using Portable Air Samplers (PAS) such as the 3M 7500 series PAS.

3M™ Fume Hoods use HEPA filtration to capture contaminants down to 0.3 microns, including: Lead, asbestos, heavy metals, bacteria and mold particles. They can be used for indoor or outdoor applications.
