3M 32040 is a premium abrasive designed to produce a high cut rate in wet or dry application

This gives you something that is a lot safer and more efficient than sanding! This is also a lot better for the environment than sanding down your old tools

It is ideal for shaping, smoothing, finishing and deburring metal and plastic materials

This product is a great way to clean off the dirt, grime, and paint from your tools

They are made with aluminum oxide grain that is bonded to a paper backing with a water resistant resin adhesive

For high speed removal of thin to heavy coatings of paint, rust, and scale from ferrous metals

3M 32040 can be used on most ferrous and non-ferrous materials, including stainless steel, aluminum, brass and plastics

For instance, when you are repairing wooden furniture, such as chairs and tables, you might use 80-grit wet/dry sand paper; however if you were refinishing an antique dresser top, then 150-grit would be more appropriate

It is great for detail work, smoothing surfaces and removing rust
