The Taco 400-4 hot water float valve is designed to be mounted on a 150 psi or higher hot water system while utilizing a 1/8" NPT connection. Taco float valves are designed for commercial uses and are NSF certified to NSF / ANSI Standard 61 for equipment and appurtenance sanitation.
The Taco 400-4 1/8" Float Valve is ideal for radiant heating systems that are pressurized to 150 psi. The water is pressurized through this valve using an air compressor. It will not open until the air pressure has been met.
The Float Vent is a light-weight type float valve, with a plastic body and inlet, a brass drain inlet in the bottom of the body and a brass outlet in the top. Designed for use with water piping systems between 120 to 150 psi.
Attach this vent to your float and you can set the water temp and pressure by your air pressure.Adjustment screws allow fine tuning to allow the vent to work with just about any pump.
