The Powerhead Conversion Kit (Water) (2-Pack) is designed for use with Honeywell's Duostats and Duosplites as well as other brands of humidifiers. This kit will convert your existing compressor/evaporator unit from using R-22 refrigerant to using environmentally safe water. Each kit contains a filter to fit the cover of your humidifier. It also has a built-in bypass damper that prevents damage to the dampers caused by the switch in refrigerants, and eliminates the need for recharging.

When you use the PowerHead Conversion Kit, you twist it onto your hose and attach the female connector to the powerhead. You're then ready to vacuum away. Order one for all of your hoses with a female connection. Replacement filters sold separately : use 40003918-9 MF.
