It features a standard one-half in (12 mm) diameter stem and is designed for use on hollow metal doors up to 1-1/8 in (29 mm) thick. It can be surface mounted using only the #10-32 screw hole or may be used in conjunction with door stops and trims which can be applied to the extension portion of the plate to control lateral movement.
