Our SPDT sail switch is designed for use with boat windlasses and traveler wires. The SPDT provides a solid connection that will not accidentally change position due to sheet tension. On dual windlasses, connect the traveler wire to one of the switches, and attach the other end directly to the drum of the winch.

The RUUD 172486 SPDT sail switch is used in a single-pole, single-throw configuration to allow your small boat to start and stop the engine. This SPDT sail switch operates similar to a traditional light switch, rotated from off to on or vise versa.

Their SPDT switches offer both positive and negative switching, transparent mode changing, and a 3/16""-24 threaded mounting hole for easy installation.

The SPDT switch is rated for single phase 120/240VAC and up to 20 amps. The SPDT snap-action style Molded case momentary switches are ideal for control circuit applications.
