RHEEM pressure switches have a three-year limited warranty and includes a mounting bracket and wiring harness.

The 172772 pressure switch is designed to help prevent flooding and freezing by controlling the condensate pump when water pressure drops below 26 PSI . It can also control a separately purchased circulation pump.

For optimum operation, the pressure switch can be replaced every 12 to 15 years.

The pressure switch is designed to switch power to the electric actuator in response to water pressure in the system.

RHEEM pressure relief switches are designed for use with Rheem and Ruud gas, oil and LPG furnaces. Pressure switch must be installed in the circuit between the unit burner and the power source. Pressure switch must be thread-connected to solid fuel gas piping at the point where burners will supply fuel to the pipe. The pressure switch senses high pressure in the line, opens and interrupts the burner control circuit, shutting down all power to the unit.
