Rheem 172781 Pressure Switch replaces Ruud 42-24194-86 Pressure Switch for Rheem, Ruud water heaters. Measured in psi, this high quality pressure switch senses when the water in your Rheem system begins to boil. In response to this deviation an internal piston moves a rod that will cause a switching device to change from full operation to partial operation.

This pressure switch includes an 8"" (205mm) Switch Rod for the RHEEM/Ruud 42 Series and 19"" Switches including 42DSI, 42DSL, 42DSM, 42DSP, and 42DST.
