The Sequencing Relay has 24 VAC/DC branch circuits that are programmed via digital sequential timer.

The Protech Sequencing Relay is designed to allow controllers to communicate with an up to 6 zone, lower voltage heating/cooling system when connected with a standard 24VAC, 3-wire mechanical timer (depending on the model).

The Protech Sequencing Relay is an all solid state relay. The control features available are normally open and normally closed contacts, which can be used separately or together to obtain logic combinations. It can be started manually with a downward pressure of the pin on the plunger or automatically using a low voltage 24 to 120 volt alternating current control signal.

RHEEM's Sequencing Relay is designed to allow major home appliances to be connected together in a programmable sequence with automatic switchover operation. And unlike other conventional relays, which can cause short circuits when a load circuit fails, RHEEM's relay has circuitry that automatically disconnects abnormal heat loads.

The 170602 Protech Sequencing Relay is designed to allow use of a single thermostat to select which zone comes on first. For example, the homework & kitchen zone could be set to come on first (the hot air from this zone could be piped to a direct vent soffit to pre-heat the house) and then, when it is hot enough in the rest of the house, only the other zones will come on. This is just one example of what could be done with a Protech Sequencing Relay installed in each zone. They are available for 100 , 110 or 120 volt use

The Protech Sequencing Relay is only available through ARI. With this product, you can deliver the energy required to power control a large air conditioning system from solar panels or wind turbines. You can also use it to provide economical temperatures into your hot water storage tank for pool heating and domestic hot water needs.

This Protech Sequencing relay is designed to operate an air conditioning unit (AC) or heat pump. This Protech Relay features a special plug-in coil module suitable for working with up to two units per load side of the AC. The Protech Sequencing also allows switching of dual compressors on larger systems, which splits one large compressor into multiple efficient coils, or allows coils to be grouped together for lower total operating costs.
