Low Pressure Limit - Auto Reset

Rheem Outdoor Furnaces come with a factory-installed low pressure limit (LPL) safety switch to protect the unit from unsafe pressure transients. The LPL cannot be adjusted and is factory calibrated to trip if the discharge pressure falls below 115 psi. This 371117104 Limit Valve is equipped with an auto-reset function, so that on the return of pressure above 115 psi the LPL will reset itself to the closed position - protecting your furnace from further discharge transients.

The new Ruud / Rheem 12-year low pressure limit switch provides safety and peace of mind. The system is automatically reset after the LP gas-air mixture pressure has been equalized. This unit can also be adapted to series modulating systems

The blower reset alarm will sound until the correct operating conditions are restored.
