The RHEEM 174032 Limit Switch - Auto Reset (Surface Mount) features a nylon case for long term durability. It is rated at a maximum of 15 amps, 120/240 VAC, and has a 0.75" terminals.

The Limit/Auto Reset Switch is a two position "Change-put" device which may be used for indicating the position of limit switches or for providing a manual reset function depending on the coil type selected.

These switches are commonly used for thermostat controls and can be surface or DIN mounted. They have an auto reset function which means the unit will automatically reset to ON once the temperature has been reached by the heating unit. Thereafter, the limit control is only required when switching ON/OFF the unit or when power is interrupted to a unit.

Its field selectable for ON, OFF and AUTO reset. This is a 15/30 Amp SPDT 30 volt DC. The contacts are rated for 1/2 HP at 125 VAC and the switch's Mechanical Life is 100,000 cycles.

Automatic reset is designed to trip thermally and electrically at peak operating temperature, protecting the motor from thermal overload.
