With a tap on the side or this unit's lever, all the cinders and ash will fall into the main chamber for quick, easy cleaning. This collector box can be used as a replacement for older-technology box designs.

The Amana Collector Box Kit is designed to fit many different models. The sealed nature of the collector makes this design ideal for any application that benefits from a reduction in water vapor and heat loss. The down side is that it requires a dedicated flue pipe, with a collar fitting on the flue pipe and your backdraft damper leading to the outside.
