488 PALMINA US15 LH HALF DUMMY

The Kwikset 488PALMINA US15 LH Half Dummy is designed to function with the KWIKSET KW1 and KWIKSET KW5 series of deadbolts while giving you a blank or dummy for installations that require a 1 3/8 inch diameter latch face. It is constructed out of steel which gives it an increased security over a lock made from plastic.

This US15 Half Dummy with CPS-Cylinder is fit for the 488PALMINA lock. It can be used to replace the deadlock of a previously installed lock. It may also be used to repair a broken set of doors.

Kwikset 488PALMINA Deadbolt, U.S. Combination is a brass-plated, 2-1/8in throw latchbolt available in 15 select finish and Function/Strike combinations. US15 Latchbolt with Key Retaining Half Dummy functions as a lock and key keeper when installed on the left hand side of the door only.

This Kwikset 488PALMINA Half Dummy with lever handle features heavy galvanized steel construction and includes an exclusive Limited Lifetime Warranty.

The 488PALMINA pushbutton lock features the same bumping prevention technology as the 400 Series locks. Halves can be used to upgrade locksets that do not include a thumbturn. This lock also features a deadlocking latchbolt with auto-clean feature for better performance and longer life.

The 488PALMINA is a single cylinder deadbolt featuring standard 1-1/8 in (29mm) backset, faceplates for both 2-3/8 in and 2-3/4 in (60mm and 70mm) door thicknesses. This product meets ANSI Grade 3 standards and the backset is adjustable to either 1-1/8 or 1-3/8 inch (29 or 35.5 mm).
