The Baldwin 5000003IDM 5000 003 IDM HALF DUMMY KNOB is designed for select inertia doors. This allows for a smooth operator and the highest degree of safety available. It features Die-cast solid brass construction. With a NEMA 4X rating, it means it is capable of twice the amount of energy impact cycles than a standard NEMA 4 door. This lock has three position user-friendly operation (Off, Door-opener and Lock). It offers an automatic release feature that eliminates need to exit premises to reset locking mechanism.

The Baldwin 5000 003 IDM Half Dummy Knob contains arc fault protection in accordance to NFPA-701 that helps the knob meet NEC requirements. The Anti-Rotational Lock System is installed on main pivot housing, which keeps the control knob from rotating accidentally.

The 5000 IDM Series Half Dummy Knob is perfect for a wide variety of applications and provides the necessary electronic release.

The Baldwin 5000 IDM Half Dummy Knob has a vertical C-10 spindle, a knob width of 11/16 inches and a 90° throw. For added convenience, measurements in both metric and traditional are provided on the knob face to help you achieve the perfect alignment every time. The half-dummy is designed for use with tubular deadbolts that provide at least .500 inch (12.7 millimeter) diameter through the deadbolt bore.

When paired with the designated Dimmer, it allows the end user to easily adjust and dim both the ON and OFF setting of a lighting circuit. It can also be used with other manufacturers' Dimmers that are compatible with capacitive sensing.
