Automatic Air Vents are used in potentially explosive atmospheres to prevent back-flow of hazardous gases or vapors. This automatic air vent features a metal body, an integral pressure relief spring, and a quick light, 1/8" NPT male connection.

Air vent pipe union with 1/8" NPT male threads on both sides. The side marked with 'F' goes to the incoming water line and is fit with a brass Luer fitting, allowing for easy connection of a washing machine or any other non-pressurized appliance that uses this kind of connector. The other side has no markings and is pure female thread, which allows it to fit to any hose or pipe with 1/8" NPT male thread, making it universal to work with loads of appliances.
