The double-insulated, completely enclosed scroll motor is permanently lubricated and permanently cooled. The unique scroll shape of the motor allows for more than twice the clearance between the fan blades and any object within 30 degrees of the axis of rotation as compared to conventional motors. This translates into less obstruction on the fan blade side walls and cooler operation, which prolongs motor life. A full perimeter frame allows for maximum support around each side of the fan blades, providing greater safety.
