Results of testing indicate that it prevents cross-bored, plug-in and rasp-type locksmith attacks, as well as pull-type on use attacks, that are directed at sawing through or lifting cylinder locks. This option is designed to be an additional measure of security on a non-deadlocking latchbolt assembly.

The Baldwin 5210 102 Dead Locking latchbolt is designed for heavy-duty applications. It can be substituted for an existing 355 dead bolt to add a dual function to your 3 3/4" door. This heavy duty deadlock features removable pins, allowing it to be converted to an RBI with no additional hardware.
