MODULE, COMFORT ALERT

The Date/Time Module is an optional feature of the Comfort Alert System 2.5. The module uses standard AAA Alkaline batteries. When you replace the batteries, make sure that the new ones are installed with the correct polarity. The options with the date include: DD/MM/YY or MM/DD/YY or DD/MM, YY for dates and display of 12 hr clock time.

The Comfort Alert Module (CAM) is a direct replacement for the control board that came equipped on your refrigerator at the factory. If your refrigerator fails to dehumidify, maintains an undesirably low temperature, or the fan cycle continually runs make sure to replace the board. The CAM will also receive and display any fault codes set by other components in the control system. It functions as a service tool to help both professional and DIY technicians troubleshoot and repair product malfunctions.

The Comfort Alert Module is designed to alert the user when the temperature in the room reaches a predetermined level. The module can also shut off a cooling or heating source when the temperature is within a selected range.

The Comfort Alert™ Module (product number 166764) is designed to be used with the Amana® A/C, Heat pump & Furnace systems and must be installed for these systems to be eligible for the 10-year parts limited warranty.
