This Caleffi 114937 1-1/4" Sweat Dismal Air Separator fits tightly to the spigot, and has a unique design with the air separator spout pointing towards the ceiling or roof instead of down. The spigot is nickel plated brass, and assures a trouble free installation.

CALEFFI 1¼" Sweat Pipe Air Separator . For use with hot water heating systems rated up to 200 psi. The air separator discharges air from the system through pipe plug and the fitting on top of the air separator. These units are sealed to prevent loss of pressure. The exclusive diaphragm-type valve keeps foreign materials out of the radiator or boiler, and permits assembly without a wrench. Standard 2" male pipe thread fitting outlet connection. Gravity discharge when installed vertically, or with optional bulkhead fitting if installed horizontally or uphill. Dimensions: 4-1/2"

Sweat connection that is made of galvanized steel for lasting durability and corrosion resistance. This air lock includes an aluminum pre-charge that allows water to flow into the device when the boiler shuts off. Its bellows construction is designed to withstand pressure of up to 60 psi.

The new Caleffi 114937 is designed to locate in sidewall installations for F, P, and S piping loops. This air separator is capable of handling 150 PSI, which makes it ideal for commercial applications with hot water heating systems. It comes 1-1/4" NPT and can be soldered onto the main supply pipe. This is a "sweat connection". The body of this air exhaust separator has an extra function, as it acts also as a support bracket for the regulator and drain valve. Available in several finishes.
