Expansion Valve (TXV) w/Bleed Port

Our dual port, U.L. listed TXV offers the protection of safety redundancy. Bleed port, packaged in a durable plastic case, is designed to be used with refrigerant filled systems only and requires a common hose to be attached between the TXV and compressor refrigerant line.

Expansion Valves (TXV) work with variable refrigerant flow systems. When the variable compressor requires more refrigerant it opens a port allowing additional refrigerant to enter the evaporator coil. These valves are designed to work with small amount of liquid, depending on the wetting agent used in the compressor.

The Rheem Ruud 611048 Expansion Valve (TXV) is used in an Air Conditioning system that uses refrigerant R-410A. This expansion valve is part of the evaporator coil system which helps to regulate the flow of refrigerant to the compressor. The expansion valve can be identified by its gray color and contains a replaceable filter.

The 3/8" ODF R410A 2TON W CHECK VLV is a replacement for the Ruud 611048 Expansion Valves (TXV's). This expansion valve has an ODF fitting, and is designed to work with R-22 and/or 410A refrigerant. This valve for the air conditioning part of your Ruud HVAC unit contributes to the even flow of refrigerant. It works with a wide variety of units.
