The 177071 Sound Enclosure is a large enclosure designed for use with many AC-series compressors. The cover is wrapped in black insulating foam, providing outstanding sound absorption qualities that can be used to reduce noise produced by the unit operating inside the enclosure. It has been tested and found to meet applicable sound level requirements for air conditioning equipment.
