FLOAT TYPE LWCO FOR STEAM REPLACES
This FLOAT TYPE LWCO is made for STEAM, and is a direct replacement for the following manufacturers: Canadian General Electric
NEW FLOAT TYPE LWCO THAT REPLACES THE OLD STYLE STEAM TANK.
The McDonnell & Miller 4047 Xylem-767 is a high quality, reliable lwco that's compatible with the most popular steam cleaners. This steam lwco is also known as a float type lwco.
LWCO's, or low water cut-off valves (LWC's), are designed for automatic cutoff of the steam supply in case of low water detection. A float attached to a lever mechanism operates the valve mechanism. The lever is connected directly to the valve stem by a steel rod that can be pivoted about an axis through its middle. As water rises above the top flange of a two-piece casing, it depresses the float and actuates the lever which trips the valve stem.
With fine-tuned weight transfer for delicate electrical work, the W/2.5" LWCO comes standard with a JG Taylor™ float valve that's designed to be pressurized and allow for thermal expansion and contraction of the float material while the valve remains fully open.
The Xylem-767 LWCO with tap provides the flexibility to install in the field without switching heads . The body of the Xylem-767 LWCO w/Tap is a durable cast iron that has been chrome plated for lasting durability.
McDonell & Miller Models 4047 Xylem- 767 "LWCOw/2.5""TAP Steam Trap are of the high quality steam trap designed for process control of condensate and vapours to prevent under drain back flow in piping systems.
