HOT SURFACE MINI IGNITOR WITH 6.125

The "HOT SURFACE MINI" Ignitor provides a built-in igniter that will assist in performing tests on Thermostats and Heat/Cool Fan Relays. To activate the ignitor, simply connect a jumper wire to the #1 & #2 terminals of the 767A-380 and connect the other end of the jumper wire to an open GROUND port. The ignitor is used in conjunction with the Cen-Tech Model HC250 Hot Surface Interrupter.

The HS Mini Ignitor is a pilot flame unit with a 6.125" lead. This pilot flame unit is ideal for use with the gas engineered burner systems, which are used in space heaters and water heaters and other heating appliances. The HS mini ignitor can be used to replace any min ignitor that uses a 280T pilot flame output and has a 6.125" lead wire. It also features an LED pilot light.

The HSI Mini Ignitor is a low voltage ignition control for hot surface ignition systems installed in single-family residential and light commercial applications. Installation can be accomplished with minimum start-up wiring. This control is suitable for most central heating, furnace, boiler, ovens and cook tops installation.

This is the same device used by technicians in the past to test for a hot surface condition on gas-fired radiant baseboard heaters. The HSI Mini Ignitor replaces the standard igniter wire and screws to provide direct current and voltage, which can be measured with an ohmmeter or hot surface tester.
