The White-Rodgers P/N 99955 Nitride thermistor hot surface ignition module is a factory replacement part with an approximate 1 year life.

The 99955 is an OEM replacement hot surface sensing thermocouple with 5/8" diameter probe. The fully insulated thermocouple is enclosed in a stainless steel sheath and wire leads with a 2-wire connection and easily installs into the 99950 or 99985's existing connector. Features include:

A high-performance nitride hot surface ignitor that replaces worn or broken Hot Surface Ignitors. It features a low resistance, self-cleaning design to ensure reliable energization and long life. Requires preheating.

NITRIDE HOT SURFACE thermocouples are designed for connecting directly into heat sensing device mechanisms. These thermocouples measure the process temperature at the point of contact to ensure no time or energy is wasted on unnecessary heat transfer.
