Vent-RITE 4947 is an air elimination steam vent with 3/4" X 1/2" M AIN E L E M E N T . This cast iron steam vent is used for economizers.

This is a Main Steam Vent Valve with Air Elimination Valve. For use with main steam lines in commercial or residential boilers. Air Elimination Steam Vents are designed to relieve excessive pressure from main steam lines by allowing a small amount of water to self-regulate at the point of connection between the vent and line. Note: The 1/2" BSPT threads on this product are for specific installation purposes only and should be used as directed by Ventrite Engineering.

Attach to any standard 1/2" steam or hot water vent pipe outlet. Eliminate condensation and help prevent ice buildup. Prevents pipes from freezing and sticking. For rubber gasket, see Vent-RITE Part #493 or #492. For 3/4" vent pipe use Vent-RITE Part #498.

The Air Elimination Steam Vents inlet air valve features a special design that eliminates flash steam entry into the pipe. At high pressure, steam will be converted to water droplets before they enter the pipe. Ventrite valves are available for 1/2" and 3/4" application and all 90 degrees.
