The HS780-1 Electronic Hot Surface Ignition Module provides the power to warm up your cooktop right as you want to use it. Crafted from chrome plated brass and stainless steel, the HS780-1 module has a sealed element with extra wiring to reach all burners and a 1-foot power cord so it can be mounted midway between stove and wall outlet. Heat settings are controlled through the knobs directly on the surface unit. A flashing red light indicates when the module is heating up; when it reaches the desired temperature at which your cook top or range can take control, a solid green light is illuminated

The HS780-1 Ignition Module is a Hot Surface Ignition (HSI) unit designed for use with the Robertshaw SV800C gas valve. The HS780-1 provides an isolated hot surface as the source of ignition for gas fired ranges or cooktops. This module is designed to provide a more stable spark output than the standard SV800C module, while also providing an energy saving alternative voltage setting that allows the stove to automatically adjust to various gas pressures.

HS780-1 is a high quality surface module for catalytic-, gas- and electric stoves. The sur face module convert the thermal energy in an air stream, that has normally been heated up to approximately 1000°C by the stove, to heat. The HS780-1 is a compact unit and features a Q Sensor, which con verts the required number of air molecules to improve and accelerate ignition. This process speeds up ignition time or reduces the oxygen demand.

The HS780-1 is a square wave generator that will ignite liquid fuel such as propane or natural gas. The output of the module is adjustable and has integrated short circuit and overload protection.
