Our ASCO 8221G9 1-1/4""N/C SLOW CLOSE VLV is a normally closed valve that automatically opens to supply air when pressure rises above a preset level. The valve remains open for an adjustable period, then closes slowly under spring tension. Once fully closed, the valve is held in the closed position until it reopens by cycling off on demand.

The Asco 8221G9 is a normally closed solenoid valve. The 8221G9 has a 1-1/4"" SCH 80 pipe, 1-1/8"" NPT port and N/C mounting options.

The ASCO 8221G9 Power Technologies 1-1/4"" N/C SLOW CLOSE VLV is a normally closed, ON/OFF solenoid pilot operated valve designed for precise control of flow and direction. The 8221G9 features an adjustable spring return and normally closed biased design. It is completely free of ferrous metals for use with non-metallic fluids or gases. The spring return design is intended for use with loop to close applications in which the desired flow direction is from the supply side through the valve body and back to the supply side utilizing the same pilot signal that initially energized the device.
