The Kwikset 83262 Smartkey Re-key kit is an easy-to-use, convenient and legal tool that allows you to re-key your Kwikset lock. If you want to change the key on your Kwikset lock, this is the tool for you.

This Kwikset 83262 Rekey kit is compatible with Kwikset doors that accept Smartkey Security features. Using the 83262 Rekey kit will allow you to rekey a Kwikset lock into new key codes. This kit is all you need to rekey your current Kwickset hardware to work with new keys or remote units, such as the EVVA MCS Touch system, or the Mul-T-Lock MT5 touch system.

The Kwikset 83262 is a re-key kit that has been developed to use with the Kwikset Premis Lock. This feature provides an easy way for you to re-key your locks without having to call a locksmith to get them done. It comes as 4 units and is used to rekey your lock. Key codes used with this tool: R89C, R89J, R89A, R89B
