200F M/R SPST ROLLOUT SWITCH

The 83L88 is a 200F M/R SPST ROLLOUT that is designed for use on Lennox Heating Air Conditioning units and applications. For programming information, please refer to the Lennox Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps Application Guide, 2nd edition.

The 83L88 is a 200F M/R SPST switch intended for low voltage, single phase applications. The 83L88 Break-make unit features a steel enclosure and roller cam handle for ease of operation and contamination resistance. The 83L88 X-over unit is completely enclosed in a stamped steel cabinet; the handle on the 83L88 X-over unit operates on an alloy pivot pin, which prevents wear to the handle shaft and provides a long operational life.

The Lennox 83L88 Control-Limit Rollout switch, 200F, wire in or M/R switch is a 200F, (2) Wire in or M/R cutoff switch that is an integral part of the Control Limit Board found on most Lennox Gas Furnaces & Heat Pumps.

Our 83L88 is a rollout switch that includes our patented control-limit function. With the ability to control the process motor output with a high level of accuracy, this application is ideal for rigorous environments such as high temperature and high pressure. Control-Limit Switch Series 83L99 (204F/150R) & 83L105 (224F/150R) are equivalent replacements for obsolete products.

The 83L-88 Control-Limit rollout switch is used as an overtravel device for closing a switch, a warning device to inform the operator of an approaching or existing limit point, or as a line switch which will stop the machine if opened.

Control-Limit Rollouts open against a spring return under moderate pressure or when the limit switch is tripped, resetting automatically. They are available with standard aluminum or stainless steel sheathed rollers. A trip stop with a red handle is standard on the center unit of a three-element rollout and an emergency stop is standard on all units.

A limit switch will extend the motor of a 200F gas-fired, type-B, control-limit unit to the input end of the gas valve. (A limit switch is not used on a 300F unit.) The limit switch has an operating temperature range from 32-131°. Depending upon length and weight of the wire, allows direct wiring from unit to the limit switch.
