FAN PROVER SENSING TUBE WITH INLET

The Fan Prover 950-0001 FAN PROVER SENSING TUBE WITH INLET is the ideal tool for verifying that fan coils or blowers are working properly. This tube senses air flow through it, indicating air flow to a fan coil or blower motor. Connects directly to your electric source with a polarized plug (115V/15AMP), and uses no batteries.

Fan Prover Sensing Tube With Inlet is used for testing the air flow in ventilation systems.

The Fan Prover Testing Tube with Inlet is a required item needed to effectively complete an inspection of Model No. 950- 001 and 950-001 fans. The inlet can be attached to the inspection tube and the 1-3/4? flex hose to the discharge port on the fan unit for testing purposes.

The TJERNLUND Fan Prover Tube with inlet is easy to fit and is designed to measure temperature in the actual airstream. The fan prover is placed on a small diameter probe tube or cylinder, which after having been positioned in the airstream, acts as a heat exchanger for the air flowing through it. It must often be stressed that temperature measurements with a Fan Prover should always be corrected according to EN50163 and EN283-5, see chapter 7.7.1 of the latest version of STEVIS2

The air velocity in conveying systems with fans is a critical issue for the separation process. The fan prover for sensing tube can both check the air velocity and measure the flow rate. The presence of air is a prerequisite for correct operation of most separation instruments and thus it is necessary to determine whether such air is present or not. The fan prover measures this using an air permeable membrane which separates gases, to create a zone of same pressure.

The TJERNLUND Fan Proofing Tube is a stainless steel tube with a length of 2 m. The Fan Proofing Tube is used in combination with the temperature in the carton during transportation. Fan speed and therefore air volume are regulated through the Fan Master to give a uniform temperature inside the carton.

An extended cable version of the pressure sensing probe for use in instances where direct connection is difficult or impossible. This product is for application with most of tjärnlund 950 series boilers. It utilizes a 3/4"-diameter tube to cover distances that are farther away from the boiler. The sensing tube has a length of 4 meters (13 feet). With a flat cable and dust cap, this product is protected against wastewater and dust during installation.
