If the vent opener does not work at all, or only works intermittently, then replacing the motor is usually sufficient to fix this issue. If the opener only works when it receives power from two separate 120 Volt hardwired circuits then this will be a defective speed control board.

This 880 series power ventilator motor is used on SS-1 style ventilators. The shaft is 1/2"-12 with a 2 step bushing for the flat shaft. The shaft length is 9".

This Motor & Wheel Assembly has a metal fan blade and plastic motor housing. It is attached to the shaft by means of a double ferrule coupling with set screws for easy lock-tight installation of the wheel. The resulting blade angle is 24° for proper distribution of air in the ductwork.
