The KWIKSET 973 Halifax SQT 514 dummy trim set is used in conjunction with the 973 Halifax Euro latchesets to create a secure, elegant look. It has an internal latch mechanism that works with 3-3/8" (82mm) bore draw latches. It is intended to replace the need for stile strike spaced at 5-5/8" (145mm).

The 973 dummy trim is designed for use on the 973 knob-set and is compatible with all Schlage finishes.

Consisting of a knob, a cylindrical metal shaft, and a decorative flange, the knob is located on one end of the cylinder, and the cylindrical shaft extends to the other end. The flange completes the trim by covering both ends of the cylinder.
