The Remote Bulb Temperature Control provides temperature selection and adjustment of discharge lamp (bulb) lighting in buildings with or without dimming ballasts. The control is designed to work exclusively with selected Johnson Controls Preheat Ballasts having remote socket connections. SPD 3403 A19 Series bulb temperature control will adjust the electrical supply to the lamp to maintain a constant light output by measuring the amount of resistance across a pair of terminals on the ballast while maintaining a fixed terminal voltage.

The Remote Bulb Temperature Control provides an easier and safer way to remotely control your lighting fixtures. Providing many of the benefits of a bi-directional lighting controls, the Remote Bulb Temperature control can also be easily converted to a standard voltage lampholder when used with our 3575 housing.
