The Johnson Controls 7111 Line Voltage Mechanical Thermostat, Model #7111 is a one stage heat/cool bulb temperature control providing up to 10 amps of load current. The operating limits for the model #7111 are from 120 to 277 VAC and 1/32 to 1/10 seconds (.032 to .1 second) minimum and maximum on-time in each of the heating or cooling directions.

This thermostat is designed to monitor and control heating, cooling, and ventilation applications. It can replace a single-switch device to provide up to 3 stages of heating, 2 stages of cooling, 2 stages of humidification (if installed) and 1 stage of dehumidification. The 7111 is UL listed for use as a remote temperature controller. It is a 24 volt DC powered thermostat that must be connected to a 24 volt power supply with thermal overload protection.

The 7111 is intended for applications that do not require any remote control switching. The 7111 does not include a lamp or a buzzer. The 7111-101 does include a 75 Watt incandescent lamp. This thermostat is available in 120 volt and 277 volt standard line voltage configurations.

This Line Voltage Mechanical Thermostat is a one Stage precision, non-programmable thermostat, with an accuracy of +/- 0.5 F or +/- 0.2 C at 40 F (4 C). This thermostat is configured for line voltage heating and cooling systems and can be used on many types of control systems. Used on hot water, steam or electric baseboard heaters and air conditioners in residential buildings. Do not use with outdoor units.

The 7111 is a complete line voltage dial air conditioning controller with ST/NK. It uses a single stage system using R, S and T (RH) terminals through R to SP thermostat and from TE1 to TG terminal. This unit has a one (1) degree control range.
