The controls provide adjustable proportional control, with additional features like: selectable time delays; simultaneous setpoint and adjustment capability; and a maximum air temperature control.

The Johnson Controls 3415 A350P Series proportional plus integral temperature control is designed for use with refrigerant-refrigerated air conditioning and heat pump systems. The thermal expansion valve (TXV) is connected in series between the evaporator and the liquid line of a single- or multi-stage refrigeration system. The temperature sensor (9Kc1) is installed on the outlet side of the evaporator coil to sense that part of the system which affects adjustment action.
