For residential and light commercial applications, the Johnson Controls 7285 Thermostat with Close on Rise is a single pole thermostat that comes pre-wired with base and limit wires for SPST (single pole, single throw), ON/OFF operation. The 7285 features a front-access terminal strip, allowing for quick and easy wiring. It also includes a manual override switch and small LED display.

Our 7285 Thermostat has a single pole design, and features a 1/2 in. stem actuator and 4 or 5 wire terminals. The 1/2 in. stems fit through 1/2 in. holes and the 1 3/4? long stem length provides for easy mounting. There are 5 terminal positions on five 2 1/4 in. centers for wiring 4-wire boxes and four 2 3/8 in. centers for wiring 5-wire boxes with each terminal position tied together, providing common circuits that provide 24-volt power to the heating and cooling equipment controlled by the thermostat.
