Honeywell's radiant thermostatic mixing valve (TMV) senses the temperature of the water through a third port and supplies hot and cold water to the same shower head, automatically mixing the right amount of hot and cold for an individual's temperature setting. When a shower is not being used, there is no need to maintain a constant hot/cold supply with the aqua-mix valve. The TMV replaces most ball valves and tends to be more reliable than manual lever valves.

With this AQUA-MIX Pro valve, you can switch back and forth between different heating zones. For example, if one zone has a higher temperature requirement than another, the valve will make sure that each zone receives an equal amount of water at just the right temperature - without overheating or underheating parts of your house.

This 2-position valve is compatible with water sources of differing PH values, creating an ideal solution for acidic or basic water. In acidic waters, a stainless steel or lead-lined anode rod diverts the effects of the acid to the sacrificial electrode while protecting the rest of the system. This valve model has a push-button handle and is intended for heating systems. All Honeywell Aquamix Valves contain an integral check valve to protect against back flow.
