Designed for a perfect fit, this flue restrictor plate can be easily attached to a wide range of boilers, furnaces and stoves. Provides proper draft flow for greater flexibility of installation.

The flue restrictor plate is used to cover the gap between your new Amana or Jenn-Air cooktop and the top of the mounting bracket. The flue restrictor plate comes with a limited warranty of 3 years for both parts and labor.

Designed to fit Amana gas ranges (where the part number ends in an "A" or an "E"), this flue restrictor plate is essential to the operation of your range. The flue restrictor regulates the flow of gas, reducing unwanted exhaust and noise. This durable component connects directly to your pipe flue, ensuring proper function every time you use your range.

The flue restrictor plate is the one-piece flue restriction/damper that is located in the lower portion of your fireplace. The restrictor plate has to open when you turn on the gas and then must close when the fireplace is turned off . If your fireplace will not light then this part may be defective and need replacing. Do NOT use this part until you have relit the pilot and allowed it to stay lit for 16 minutes before you take a reading with a thermocouple thermometer.

When installed correctly, it directs hot gasses up through the chimney. This flue restrictor has been designed to fit select Amana brand furnaces. The flue restrictor improves draft consistency and reduces smoke by allowing a full open flue orifice.
