The American Standard ARU101 is compatible with both rimless and round tub/shower enclosures.

The American Standard ARU101  flash shower rough-in valve is designed to allow quick and easy installation of a special shower replacement valve or faucet. The roughing feature makes it easy to install a bathroom fixture by providing an area for the pipe to connect with the fixture. Flash shower rough-ins can be installed on stainless steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, IPT and copper pipes  and all 1/2" NPT female threaded plumbing connections.

This rough-in valve features universal inlet and outlet connections to maximize opportunities for cost savings. It is designed for both 5/8-inch and 3/4-inch trap and includes all necessary components for installation. The valve provides 2-way operation with a water saver feature and an anti-siphon valve. It has an ADA compliant lever handle with a stainless-steel knob.

The American Standard ARU101-RU Flash shower rough-in valve is designed with 3/8" NPSM inlets and outlets to fit into a finished wall. The rough-in valve does not include the trim kit, allowing you to choose and install one that complements your style of shower or tub design. The universal inlet allows you to connect the two included adapters for using 2" and 1.5" pipes as drain lines.
