This pressure balancing unit comes outfitted with a water-efficient 1.6 gpf flush, and it conserves energy thanks to a tank-mounted flapper. The Fluidmaster 400A Fill Valve is included with this pressure balancing unit, so you can be sure that your toilet will continue to flush until the job is done.

The PBU-P0370-075-U pressure balancing unit is designed to maintain a constant water temperature in the tank. This helps ensure that you have hot water when you want it and are not wasting energy when you do not. The PBU can be used on upflow and downflow systems, with any combination of line or tank type heaters and circulators. It features a polypropylene molded body with a 316 stainless steel sensor and float assembly to provide years of trouble-free use.

Pressure balancing units are designed to insure constant supply of water to all faucets and lavatories. Standard assembly includes valve, pressure balancing piston, balance tube with check valve, distributor adapter and clamp, check diaphragm, and tension springs.

This pressure balancing unit (PBU) uses the existing pressure balancing valves to balance the home hot and cold water pressure. It does not form or fit a stop valve."

The Pressure Balancing Unit maintains the same water level in the supply and the return lines, reducing wear and tear on both unit and piping. The Pressure Balancing Unit also features a water level adjustment control for ease of installation.
