AMTROL 30 30 EXPANSION TANK 1/2" NPTM CONNECTION Expansion Tanks accomodates the excess pressure of the water system and releases it through an overflow spout. This helps prevent damage to the property and appliances in case of sudden fluctuations in water pressure. It also provides a constant flow of water into the hot water heater (or other end use) ensuring that you have hot water even during peak hours of usage.

MetroPac Diversified is now offering an expansion tank for your needs. This expansion tank is used for transferring and storing hot water and cooling it before it is applied to your home. The expansion tank does not have a thermostat; the pressure relief valve will release excess pressure when the set point temperature is reached.

The MetroPac AMT-1-50L is a metallic expansion tank with an 1/2" NPTM connection. It is suitable for confined space use and applications with large temperature fluctuations. It has a minimum working pressure of 25 PSI and maximum working pressure of 150 PSI. The non restrictive design allows for heat expansion to occur in small amounts for any change in fluid volume or pressure.

The AMTROL 30 30 EXPANSION TANK 1/2" NPTM CONNECTION is a simple, efficient and reliable solution for the storage of potable water and fire protection. The primary component of the tank is the seamless reinforced thermoplastic liner which provides an extremely durable storage tank that withstands typical daily temperature fluctuations of potable water and can withstand continuous exposure to freezing temperatures without damage. The wall thickness of the liner material will withstand up to 212°F (100°C) continuous exposure temperature and 140°F (60°C) intermittent contact with boiling water.

Provides protection against high temperature and pressure for fuel and other liquids. Features a 1/2" inlet x 1/2" outlet NPTM connections. Available with or without drain and is fabricated from Type 304 stainless steel, manganese bronze or brass materials.

This expansion tank will fit a 1/2" NPTM connection. For the installation of this expansion tank if you do not have a pressurized water supply to the toilet, you will need to install a fill valve onto the cold water line that connects to the toilet. The hot and cold water connections are also equipped with ball valves. The fill valve and ball valves are not included with this product.
