Aprilaire 313 Media, MERV 13, replacement media filter is designed as a premium alternative to fiberglass filters and is for use with Aprilaire Model 400 and Model 500 whole house humidifiers. The Aprilaire 313 Media features a refined blend of cellulose fibers allowing for maximum water flow while filtering out more dust and microscopic allergens.

Aprilaire media is specially formulated for Aprilaire brand heat and air conditioning filters. This high-quality, high-efficiency, 'NeverWrap' MERV 13 media captures more dust, pollen, mold spores and pet dander than standard fiberglass mesh products in its class. It is also 30 percent more efficient at capturing allergens than generic competitor brands.

Aprilaire Media reduces airborne allergens in your home by trapping dust and other airborne pollutants in the air filter. Aprilaire media increases humidity levels in your home to prevent infiltration of outside pollutants. This ductable media filter combines two 13-inch x 25-inch MERV 13 media filters into one reusable assembly. The exterior of the filter housing is made of galvanized steel and has a removable drain tray that catches water and debris.

Aprilaire's MERV 13 filter has a very high efficiency rating of over 90% for the removal of airborne particles. It is the equivalent to about 20-25% of an inch of fiberglass, and it works by trapping contaminants on its surface. The thicker the filter, the more effective it is.

The Aprilaire 313 Media Air Filter is designed for use in the following Aprilaire Furnace models: Model 413A, 431A, 441, 46 or 50 furnace. The Aprilaire Media air filter is designed to remove fine airborne pollutants that may cause allergies or trigger asthma symptoms. This replacement air filter meets the highest MERV rating requirements for air filtration efficiency to reduce potential airborne allergens like pet dander, dust mites and plant pollen from your home. Designed with a streamlined frame, you can simply slide out the old filter and slide in the Aprilaire Media filter without removing your furnace cover!
