The Aprilaire 4000 SOLENOID VALVE is used in high quality humidifiers and combines outstanding performance and exceptional value.

This solenoid valve has been tested and replaced. It is in perfect working condition. The solenoid is used to control water flow to the furnace.

Once installed, the new solenoid valve can be accessed and controlled with the existing 4200 Series Control. Voltages range from 9 to 15 volts for large or multiple fan applications. The Aprilaire Solenoid Valve is 1/2" Male Pipe Thread x 3/4" O.D. Compression and fits Aprilaire / Space-Gard Fans.

Aprilaire Solenoid Valve is used to activate the PowerGARD variable speed motor for the Aprilaire Model 9000, 8030, or 8800 humidifier. The April Air 85 and 70 humidifiers also require a solenoid valve for proper operation.

The Aprilaire 4040 Solenoid Valve is an indoor only gas water heater bypass valve that can be installed to limit hot water temperatures in the coldest climates.

The Aprilaire 4040 solenoid valve is designed for use with the Aprilaire 300 and 600 series heaters. With an operating temperature of -40?F, this model has a superior temperature control range making it effective in heating any room in the house. It works via an electronic control system that basically activates the heater on or off through the use of this valve. This particular valve measures about 6 1/2" long and has a depth of about 5 1/2" while weighing approximately 2 lb.
