The ARCO StarTr OMC starter will fit 150-235 HP models Honda and Mercury without any modifications (will not fit 2000 thru 2010 Yamaha). The unit can be used as an inboard or outboard. The cap may be positioned in the water when used as an outboard.

The ARCO STARTR is a self-contained, completely sealed solenoid coil assembly including a solenoid plunger, plunger shaft and an integral diaphragm. This unit makes easy starting of outboard engines with maximum performance from the electrical system. A positive on cover seal is required where applicable.

The STARTR-OB is a premium, extreme duty outboard engine starter. It's been tested to easily handle the start demands of 175 hp engines with ease. Simple two wire install, and works flawlessly on all standard outboards with V4 or V6 spark plugs.

Our starter is designed to fit OMC 150-235 HP V6 outboard engines from 1986 and later. It weighs 2.5 pounds and comes equipped with two grip handles at the top and bottom for easy portability. The starter is 6-1/2" x 12-1/2" x 5-1/2", making it easy to store when not in use.
