The Honeywell 24VDC Automatic Round Damper (ARD) modulates the air flow to a space and can control the temperature of the space. The ARD operates same as an internal damper in a forced air heating or cooling system, but does not require ducting. The ARD may be located anywhere along the supply or return air ductwork and can be used with any type of ventilation equipment.

The ARD16TZ Series Automatic Round Damper is a horizontal damper designed for vertical mounting in air duct systems. The damper is open when the coil supplied external control voltage is off. The damper is automatically closed when the coil supplied external control voltage is on. The damper can be thermally protected with an optional thermal overload device.
