"-.10""wc SPST Pressure Switch"

The ARMSTRONG AIR R102463-01 "-.10""wc SPST Pressure Switch" is used on Armstrong Air furnaces and is sold as each.

The Armstrong Air R102463-01 pressure switch -.10""wc SPST Pressure Switch is ideal for air conditioners and heat pumps with systems up to 10 volts. This pressure switch is designed to detect a rise or fall in airflow and send a signal resulting in proper operation of the air conditioning or heat pump system. This SPST pressure switch features an inlet pipe thread of "-.25""in-lb"", a male outlet pipe thread of "-.25""in-lb"", a "-.160""wc"", and an "-.165""wc"".

The AIR R102463-01 -.10""wc SPST Pressure Switch is a pressure switch that detects when air conditioner compressor operates and automatically cuts the power to it if the pressure gets too low. The switch is made of nylon thermoplastic and has a white finish.

Pressure switch, 10" wc inlet/outlet.

Pressure switches sense pressure in two phases-service and return-and provide a common output when the pressure reaches a set point. They are installed in a system to control air flow, actuate controls and equipment, and prevent pressure from exceeding a safe limit.

Armstrong Pressure Switch Assemblies are designed to provide protection from thermal and freeze damage in commercial and industrial versions of our unique gas-cooled, high efficiency direct expansion chillers. The pressure switches consist of a calibrated, diaphragm-operated orifice that is used in series with a pilot solenoid valve. The switch is connected in parallel with the metering device flow restriction orifice (expansion valve) for cooling systems where ambient air cooling is used. For heating systems, the transducer pressure controlled switching element is placed in series with the metering device flow restriction orifice (evaporator

Armstrong Air furnaces employ a variety of pressure switches for the cycling operation of their burners. A pressure switch is an electrical switch, which has a sensing element that is exposed to the air stream. The sensing element is designed to make and break an electrical contact depending on the pressure of the air stream.
