The ASCO 8210G94 is a Red Hat General Purpose Solenoid Valve, 120 Vac,1/2"" NPT Ports, 0-100 PSI.
The Model 8210 is a direct-operated valve that utilizes a N/C pilot poppet to control flow. Solenoid operated valves have many advantages over manual spring-loaded ball valves. The most obvious advantage is that they can be controlled electrically. This means that the operator is free to move about the field without having to manually operate the valve. Another advantage is that they can be remotely controlled and monitored. A sophisticated pneumatic or electric control system allows operators to issue commands from monitoring modules, while also monitoring flow and pressure remotely for trouble detection.
The 8210G94 Red Hat two-way normally closed acting solenoid valve has an optional control piping with capillary, end cap and digital position indicator. The 8210G94 Red Hat is used to switch liquid or gas on and off according to the requirements of the application using media such as air, steam, oil, water etc. It features stainless steel brushed finish body construction with integral body sealing and SS bonnet types"
The 8210G94 is designed for air and other gases. The solenoid valve has a pressure sensing pilot for proportional control of process flow. This valve is field adjustable for differential pressure and for leakage compensation."
Designed for residential and commercial applications. Direct acting valves have 1/2"" NPT inlet and outlet ports, 8"" (200mm) NPT x 3/4"" BSPT shutoff ports, two coil wire leads 9"" (230mm) long. General purpose solenoid valves are single phase, 120 VAC, 60 Hz, 1/8 HP. Mounting brackets are included with each valve.
