This versatile ASCO 8215G10 Air and Fuel solenoid valve offers both gas and air capabilities. Ideal for applications requiring a normally closed NC shutoff, the 8215G10 is constructed with a 3/8" Class T solenoid valve, 1/4" NPT male connector, and 1-inch wrench-off union. It mounts to any metal or plastic air cylinder using a hex nut (sold separately), allowing you to create pressure within your cylinders.

The ASCO 8215G10 normally closed, liquid-tight solenoid valve is for use on pneumatic systems. It features an internally lubricated coil that helps prevent wear and tear. This valve closes when the air pressure reaches 0-50 psi. At a constant pressure of 20 psig, flow will be reduced to 1.8 gpm at 77° F (25° C).

The air (1/4" & 1/2") and fuel (3/8" & 1/2") gas valves are used on air ejector units, roof ventilators, hot water heating systems, gas forced air furnaces and blower applications. They are designed to operate with normal supply pressures of 30 PSI. The unique plunger rod design provides a positive stopping point at the full open and shut off positions. All units are CSA certified and tested for function on an individual basis.

Features include a normally closed, spring-loaded valve with manually-operated poppet which is held in the open position by a manually operated push button located on the valve body above the inlet port. The body is constructed of aluminum, with pressure and flow ports on the top side of the body. Each valve has a convenient external bleed air/gas control knob that allows for easy adjustments without loosening connections to sever tubing lengths. The 2" ports are suitable for use in plenums or tight spaces and allow 1/8" NPT fittings.

Built to have a long life, the 8215G10 comes with a 15' power cord and is also equipped with adjustable inlet and outlet pressure, as well as an adjustable differential pressure. This control valve is ideal for use on fuel fired equipment operating at low pressure. It has a 1" sized (48 mm) outlet and normally closed operation.

Providing the air to ignite a pilot burner, system solenoid, manual gas valve, or pneumatic control valve can be accomplished with the ASCO 8215G10 1/4 Full Port Solenoid Valve. This product will complete the electrical circuit when current is supplied to it and the closing force is manipulated away from the valve seat by a rod in response to pressure changes in the air supply.
