This is the ASCO "Aluminum Body Direct Acting/Piloted Solenoid Valve, 1" Pipe Size, 2-Way Normally Closed, Nitrile Butylene Sealing, 1-5/8" Orifice, 21 Cv Flow, 12V/DC".

This valve features a two-way normally closed bi-metal design. It has a 1" inlet and outlet and 21 Cv flow with 12V/DC voltage. The actuator is a direct acting, piloted solenoid valve, with nylon nitrile butylene seals that can be used for air or water applications.

This ASCO direct-act valve is an ideal replacement for older, obsolete valves. It is especially useful for retrofitting applications because it is easy to install, and has a compact footprint. The valve can be mounted on its side (90°) or upright (180°) in any position.

Direct Acting Solenoid Valves with Heavy Duty Aluminum Bodies. The valves are piloted and normally closed. They operate on 12 volts direct current for coil power and 24 volts direct current for air power. The valve is normally closed when no air pressure is applied. The solenoid valve is opened by the application of 115 psi air pressure to the pilot port. The 125 psi orifice flow rating gives you a 21 cubic feet per minute flow capacity at less than 0 psi differential pressure drop in line.

This ASCO® direct acting air solenoid valve is used to control the flow of air. When energized, the piston directs air to a specific port, allowing for precise regulation of airflow. Air does not flow through the valve in its "off" state. The aluminum body with stainless steel pins and disc ensures long lasting performance.
