Our Heat Sequencer is a revolutionary, patented temperature control that can hold and maintain two separate comfort settings--and has nothing to do with electronics. It works by switching an internal valve that circulates water in the tank. When your shower heats up, it sends hot water to the top of the tank, so that as water flows out of the showerhead, only warm water reaches you. The valve then stops movement of this heated water to allow fresh cold water to enter from the bottom. This results in two constant independent temperatures--like a dial-controlled dual faucet bathtub, without any electronics.

The Heat Sequencer switch continuously cycles through your 3 functions to keep them warm when not in use for up to 15 minutes. It is specially designed for built-in induction ranges and provides 10-minute presets for warming, defrosting, or keeping food and beverages at their proper temperatures. The Durable melamine housing protects the mechanism from spills and impacts.

The Heat Sequencer delivers both multi-stage and modulating heat for superb cooking results. With a programming and selection knob, it is versatile and easy to use. It delivers a variety of attributes that includes time and temperature, allows additional features such as high limit alarm and modulating heat. Features include a removable outer case for ease in cleaning, explosion-proof thermocouple connector, an optional triple output contact block, and an optional mounting plate.

The Amana B1256559 Heat Sequencer is an 88/12 Amp 3-Position Switching Relay. This relay can be used for heating sequencer applications such as water-heating systems, AC refrigeration applications, and radiant floor heating systems. It is capable of controlling 24 volt and 40 volt General purpose inductive loads.
